
ADRC (Aging & Disability Resource Center) Specialist
Oneida County is accepting applications to fill a full-time ADRC (Aging and Disability Resource Center) Specialist position, located at the Health and Aging Building of the newly created Oneida County Human Service Dept. Oneida County Human Service is a Trauma Informed Agency that empowers, educates and supports agency staff to provide services in a caring, compassionate and safe environment.
JOB DUTIES: This position is responsible for providing the general public, but particularly adults who are older or have a disability, with information and assistance on a wide range of community resources. The position informs and educates people about long term care options, assists in connecting them to programs and services, including public and privately funded options, administers the WI Adult Long Term Care Functional Screen (LTCFS) for functional eligibility determinations for community-based publicly funded long term care, counsels and educates consumers seeking community-based care on eligibility requirements and performs enrollment functions for community-based long term care.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified individuals must have a four-year degree, preferably in Social Work or related field; three to five years Social Services/Human Services experience strongly preferred but other significant and applicable experience will be considered. Must have a valid Wisconsin Driver’s license, the ability to stay organized, understand how to work as a team player, strong customer service skills, and have excellent computer and communication skills.
WAGES AND BENEFITS: Starting 2025 wage for this position is $27.27 per hour plus excellent benefit package, including Wisconsin Retirement benefits, affordable health insurance and a PTO (Paid Time Off) package with the ability to carry unused PTO into future years.
WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE: Position works 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with an unpaid half-hour lunch. At times position may require some evening and weekend hours.
