*Typical compensation for this role is $4,833.33-$4,916.66 a month.

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications

·       Bachelor’s degree.

·       Experience in recruiting, event planning, customer service, sales, peer mentorship, or student leadership.

·       Must have strong communication, relationship building, and organization skills.

·       Ability to be in a customer-facing environment.

 

Substitutions

·       Education requirement may be substituted with up to four (4) years of related experience.

 

Licenses and Certifications

·       A valid Texas (or state of residency) driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are a condition of employment. Applicants offered an interview must present the following documents at or before the interview: A valid Texas driver’s license (or state of residency driver’s license) and current proof of automobile insurance.

 

In this role you will:

·       Confer with division directors and the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to identify recruiting needs.

·       Evaluate recruitment requirements by evaluating organization development plans and develop effective recruiting plans and strategies.

·       Align job candidate profiles with staffing objectives.

·       Proactively headhunt for hard-to-fill positions using LinkedIn and other professional networks ensuring a steady pipeline of top-tier candidates.

·       Source applicants through various methods including advertising, job sites, career fairs, and online platforms including but not limited to LinkedIn.

·       Collaborate with TAs (Talent Acquisition Specialists) and recruiting platforms to post roles.

·       Serve as the Handshake admin, managing the agency’s presence on the platform and coordinating job postings.

·       Source and maintain effective relationships with social, professional, and university networks to source qualified candidates.

·       Maintain and update agency LinkedIn Talent Acquisition page.

·       Attend events Promoting the agency at Talent Acquisition (TA), HR networking, and related meetup (this will require travelling and working late or working outside of regular business hours).

·       Organize and execute college recruitment program researching events for the Talent Acquisition team to attend throughout the year.

o   Attends hiring and networking events as determined and needed.

o   Serves as the primary contact for universities for all and any job fair coordination.

·       Responsibilities at hiring events include:

o   Create simple forms for all open and evergreen positions.

o   Set-up, staffing (meet and great), and tear down of booth.

o   Create and order marketing material, flyers, and promotional items.

o   Data collection (Resumes, contact info, etc.).

·       Post-event:

o   Responsible for collaborating with the TA team regarding open roles and potential qualified candidates.

o   Effective data management and distribution.

o   Report on event outcomes after each recruiting season.

o   Manage field office and division hiring event attendance and report to TA Supervisor.

o   Source vendors for marketing materials.

·       Meetings and community Engagement

o   Represent CPA at regional networking events, and job fairs while promoting agency brand.

o   Develop and implement strategic initiatives to increase the agency’s visibility.

o   Attend networking events and build a pipeline of public and private networking events.

o   Build strong relationships with university professors, university recruitment teams, Student Organizations and other Professional Organizations while attending community events.

·       The Recruiter is also responsible for the following administrative tasks:

o   Maintain a database of hiring events, networking events, and partnerships.

o   Create, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP) for the TA team to request headhunting support for critical roles.

o   Responsible for managing and tracking expenses for events, travel, marketing materials, and platforms.

o   Maintain current marketing materials reflecting a summary of the agency, divisions, and the positions we are hiring for.

·       Assist and support the TA team as required with the hiring process.

·       Completes special projects and other duties as assigned.

 

Work Hours

Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional evening, weekend hours and holidays. Hours may change based on business need.

 

About The Division

The Human Resources Division supports the agency’s strategic direction by assisting management in meeting staffing needs and managing people. This includes recruiting and hiring staff; on-boarding new hires; coordinating benefits; training and developing the workforce on HR topics; creating and implementing employee engagement initiatives; and facilitating separation. Human Resources’ professionals are consultants and business partners; they advise managers and employees on workforce issues and help the agency achieve its business goals.

 

SUMMARY OF PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employees are required to use their personal mobile phones as a part of 2 factor/multi factor authentication for accessing CPA systems securely. You will also receive critical/emergency calls/texts on your cell phone to ensure immediate communication.
