Senior Test Engineer (AX1777)
Education: Masters Degree (MBA); Minimum education - Bachelors Degree in a related discipline
Months/Years of Experience: Twenty - Five (25+) plus experience; Minimum experience - Fourteen (14) years of related experience as a Test Engineer and Manager.
Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship. A valid driver's license. Possess or be able to obtain a security clearance.
Desired Qualifications: Be able to lead test efforts in support of a DoD program office and perform test engineer efforts including leading working groups, writing test evaluation and master plans, develop test events, and coordinate with outside and/or internal agencies. Provide a combination of administrative, management and technical leadership to complete contracts or tasks that contributes to effective cost, schedule, and overall performance. Areas of expertise may include but not be limited to Defense programs / systems, Industrial activity, Acquisition, Engineering, Research & Development, Systems Design, Strategic Planning, Testing, Human Capital Development/Evaluation/Strategy/Policy/Operations, Workforce Analytics, Employee Relations, Facilities Management, Logistics Services/Supply Chain, Educational Support and Office Administration.
Leads/provides technical direction; provides guidance and direction for accomplishment of multiple, complex and interrelated projects; design and implements programs, projects or tasks; lead/manages multi-task projects of high complexity while providing primary interface with client management personnel regarding strategic issues; ensures completion of programs, projects or tasks within estimated time frames and budget constraints; coordinate/communicate with all parties, review work products for completeness, and adherence to customer requirements; brief and lead strategic level client meetings.
Skills Needed: Test management and oversight, qualifications experience, ability to report and communicate accurately, briefings, TEMP experience, budget management.
Duties: Lead program test in support of the program office for multiple weapons systems and/or increments; lead test working groups; write and update TEMPs, develop and execute test events and report writing, coordinate with ATEC and DOTE on scope and planning of operational testing; manage the overall test budget.
