While managing business accounting, P&L , you will receive training in key business areas such as supply chain management, logistics, global trade tariffs, revenue forecasting, data analysis, and profitability modeling. Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks is very important for the right candidate.

JOB DESCRIPTION Business accounting associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to support key business operations at Pareto. This role involves financial tracking, coordination with internal and external teams, and maintaining accurate records across various systems. The core team operates from our headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, where you will report directly to the CEO.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cash Flow Management: Maintain and update a detailed Excel-based cash flow statement. This includes inputting data for accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales, and expenses to calculate projected annual net profit on a monthly basis.
  • Quoting & Invoicing: Learn Pareto’s product pricing tiers and work closely with the sales team to generate and send accurate quotes and invoices to customers.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Gain working knowledge of Pareto’s supply chain. Collaborate with the supply chain team to issue purchase orders to suppliers. Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage AP/AR processes, send payment reminders to customers to ensure timely collections, and schedule payments to vendors to maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate with suppliers and distributors to keep inventory records up to date in Excel. Monitor office inventory and manage procurement of general supplies as needed.
  • Logistics Coordination: Schedule and follow up on shipping and receiving activities to ensure timely delivery and receipt of materials.
  • Document Management: Understand Pareto’s data storage practices and ensure that all quotes, invoices, and purchase orders are accurately filed in their designated folders
