Entry-Level UI/UX Designer

**You must be able to commute to our HQ in downtown, Columbus, OH as this role is 100% on-site**
 

We’re seeking a creative and motivated Entry-Level UI/UX Designer with 1–2 years of experience to join our growing team. You’ll collaborate with designers and developers to create user-friendly, visually engaging interfaces for our websites and apps. What you'll be doing.

• Design and Prototype: Collaborate with the team to design interfaces for web and mobile apps, creating wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes. Be comfortable working through multiple iterations as ideas evolve.
• Design System Contribution: Help evolve and maintain our design system by creating reusable components and patterns that support consistency across our product experiences.
• User Research: Assist in conducting user research, including surveys and interviews, to inform design decisions and ensure user needs are prioritized. Present your findings and explain why your design approach is the most effective solution.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside with designers and developers throughout projects to support implementation and maintain alignment. You should be comfortable receiving feedback and iterating frequently — flexibility and persistence are essential.
• Design Maintenance: Help maintain and improve existing designs across platforms to enhance usability and deliver a consistent user experience.
• Design Reviews: Participate in regular design reviews, contributing feedback and thoughtfully refining your work based on input. Expect and embrace iteration as part of reaching the best solution.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up to date on design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve your skills and contribute new ideas to the team.

What you’ll bring to the table.

• 1–2 years of experience in UX/UI design or a related field.
• Degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A strong UX portfolio is required for all applicants, showcasing design work, particularly user interfaces and prototypes.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and design processes.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Familiarity with design systems and reuseable components is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines, especially with development teams.
• Comfortable with iteration — open to feedback, able to adapt, and willing to refine designs repeatedly to reach the best outcome.
• Passion for learning and growing as a designer within a collaborative environment.
