Job description
Interns working under the direction of NKU Center for Environmental Restoration staff will assist with undertaking stream restoration projects. Most interns work outdoors to restore and improve streams and riparian areas. Some interns may participate in planning, monitoring, and reporting. Individuals may work at projects near NKU or in Carlisle, Kentucky.
Opportunities to advance in pay based upon increasing skills and responsibilities.
This role is available full or part time to undergraduates from NKU or graduates with a bachelor's degree from any university. Internships last for a period of three months with the possibility of three-month extensions up to a total of one year.
Requirements:
-ability to lift 50lbs
-ability to work outside in all weather conditions
-have reliable transportation
-willing to work with herbicides
