Environmental Lab Analyst

Environmental Testing Lab located in South Georgia, in Thomasville is seeking to hire an  Environmental Lab Analyst to help lead their NELAC Accredited Environmental Lab. In general the lab processes groundwater, wastewater, soil, and air samples daily. Applying candidates should have:

  • A minimum of a 4 year degree in Chemistry or other Science related field
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years environmental lab experience (school lab experience included)
  • Analysis of water/wastewater samples for Nutrients (TKN, TP, NH3, NO2, NO3, OP) utilizing discrete and continuous flow instrumentation along with Microbiology analysis for Fecal/EColi will be performed.   
  • Must have troubleshooting skills and instrument repair skills with preference given to VOC Lab experience with GC, GC/MS, and Purge and Trap, Testing methods: SW846 5030,5035,8021,8015,8260 EPA 624 equipment utilized Agilent, Archon, ATOMX, Tekmar VelocityOther methods/analysis performed in the lab SVOCS 8270, DRO 8015,TRPH(FL-PRO) 8000,  TCLP/SPLP 1311 & 1312 Metals 200.7/6010, Standard Methods BOD, COD, TSS, TDS, TS,Fecal Coliform, E-Coli, Continuous Flow methods EPA methods Nitrate, Nitrite 353.2 ,O-Phos and Total Phos 365.1, TKN 351.2, Ammonia 350.1  

This is a full time opportunity that presents a competitive salary of $40,000-$58,000 BOE and employer paid benefits package working a Monday- Friday day time schedule.

This position will work onsite in Thomasville, GA
