Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team in Lehi, UT. As a Data Engineer at Enzy, you will play a critical role in onboarding new customers, ensuring seamless implementation of our platform, and supporting our mission to deliver actionable insights that drive sales performance. You will design and implement customer workspaces, develop tools to streamline onboarding, resolve technical issues, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure their success.
Key Responsibilities
Workspace Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and test customized workspaces for new customers onboarding to the Enzy platform, ensuring data pipelines and configurations align with customer needs and platform capabilities.
Technical Issue Resolution: Collaborate with customer success and support teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues reported by customers, ensuring minimal disruption to their use of the platform.
Tool Development: Build and maintain tools to support efficient and scalable implementation of new customers, including automation scripts, data integration solutions, and monitoring utilities.
Customer Communication: Provide clear and timely updates to customers on the status of their platform implementations, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
Data Pipeline Optimization: Develop and optimize data pipelines to support real-time data insights and analytics, enabling customers to leverage Enzy’s platform for performance improvements.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and data scientists to enhance platform features, integrate customer feedback, and ensure data integrity and scalability.
Compliance and Security: Ensure all data handling complies with Enzy’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and applicable Data Protection Laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), particularly when processing Customer Data or Personal Information.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
2+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a customer-facing role.
Familiarity with developing tools or scripts to automate data workflows.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SQL.
Knowledge of data integration tools and APIs for connecting customer systems to SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with real-time data processing and analytics frameworks.
Understanding of database management systems
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams, conveying technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing customer issues.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a SaaS company supporting sales or customer success teams.
Familiarity with gamification or sales enablement platforms.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their application in SaaS environments.
