Metrology Equipment Engineer
We are seeking a Metrology Equipment Engineer with hands-on expertise in Rudolph and MetaPULSE systems for a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role is highly technical and requires strong experience in setup, calibration, and optimization of metrology equipment, along with the ability to train and support fellow engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, configure, and optimize Rudolph and MetaPULSE metrology tools for production readiness.
- Perform regular tool calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system health diagnostics.
- Take full ownership of tool lifecycle—from installation to sustained operational stability.
- Partner with process, integration, and equipment engineering teams to ensure data consistency and alignment with process requirements.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for assigned metrology systems; develop and maintain SOPs and technical documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to engineers and technicians on tool usage and measurement interpretation.
- Execute core metrology tasks including recipe development, gage R&R studies, tool-to-tool matching, and SPC analysis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field.
- 3–7 years of direct experience in semiconductor metrology.
- In-depth hands-on knowledge of Rudolph and MetaPULSE systems—able to work independently without vendor support.
- Solid foundation in metrology principles, including film thickness measurement, reflectometry, and acoustic/optical techniques.
- Familiarity with cleanroom practices, equipment documentation, and data-driven process optimization.
