Lab Technician

Title - Lab Technician
Duration - 6 months
Location - Bowling Green, KY, USA
Pay rate - $21.00/hour.

Description:
First shift 7"00 am-4:00pm.

Recent graduate with Associates/Bach. in Biology, chemistry, chemical engg., biomedical engg., Biochemistry can apply as well.

Performs laboratory tests or other laboratory work using conventional and computerized machines and work aids.

Performs laboratory work and tests according to prescribed standards.

Determines chemical and physical characteristics or composition.

Sets up, readjusts, and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.

Create display panels/standards to fulfill customer requests

Usual requirement is two years of post secondary education in field of specialty; however, some companies may accept equivalent education and experience combined.

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory:
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status). 

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent 

• Knowledge of basic math skills 

• Computer knowledge for basic inputting, communication, and data analysis 

• Ability to learn software used in lab. 

• Ability to complete work in a timely manner. 

• Must pay attention to detail and accuracy. 

• Ability to work independently and work with a team.
