Production Lab Assistant
Position Summary: The Production Lab Assistant is responsible for providing clerical support to the production department, support to the formulation lab cycle, and providing additional coverage in production as needed.

- Performs production order processes in the business system.
- Prepares Device History Record (DHR) and other associated paperwork for each lot of manufactured product. Completes production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prints and reviews product labels for accuracy.
- Maintains and monitors levels of inventory for production materials.
- Drives daily performance within the work area to meet business unit objectives for output, adhere to the schedule requirements, and maintain high levels of productivity.
- Follows detailed protocols and accurately completes necessary steps.
- Aids laboratory and floor personnel in various formulation, dispensing, and packaging areas, as assigned.
- Collects data used for continuous process improvements or in analyzing metrics. Evaluates data and makes recommendations.

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Related experience working in a production/lab environment processing or formulating material kits for production may be considered in lieu of education.
Language Ability:
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public. Working knowledge of/Fluency in the English language (spoken and written).
Mathematical Ability:
Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working in inventory and/or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs.
