Position Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join our team! You’ll play a key role in machining parts to precise specifications, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of materials and parts, from prototype to repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet quality standards
- Adjust machine settings and tooling to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Perform minor machine maintenance and cleaning to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Experience operating and setting up CNC machines (lathe and/or mill)
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measurement instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Prior experience in a machine shop environment is a plus
