Certified Medical Assistant

Responsible for taking patients vital signs, height, weight, and urine specimen,  then inputting those values into our EMR system.

Responsible for obtaining/updating patients chief complaints, allergies, medications and medical history. 

Prepping/stocking the exam rooms for patients visit/procedure.

Accountable for cleaning exam rooms and tables in-between patients.

Process orders  and package specimens to send out to labs.

Effectively triage patient calls in a timely manner.

Maintain OSHA compliant lab utilizing protective personal equipment, sterilizing medical equipment, and working in a safe manner at all times.

Completes assigned tasks in a timely and thorough manner.

Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

CMA or RMA required

Must be proficient on a computer and familiar with EMR

Comfortable talking to patients and addressing concerns

Ability to handle stressful situations

Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate well.

Friendly, outgoing, team -player attitude.
