Licensed Elementary Teacher

The Rochester/Stockbridge Unified School District (RSUD) serves students PreK - 6 in the communities of Rochester and Stockbridge.  We are currently seeking a licensed elementary teacher for our 4th grade classroom on the Rochester campus for the 2025-2026 school year.  This position focuses instructionally on literacy and humanities for 4th, 5th & 6th grades, while being the homeroom teacher for 4th & 5th grade. We are committed to offering a rigorous academic program that results in students being strong thinkers, readers and mathematicians.  We also highly value personal development, and strive to assist our students in developing the traits and attributes that will make them successful lifelong learners. The ideal candidate shall possess the following:
A current Vermont K - 6 teaching certification
Experience working with elementary students
Willingness to expand knowledge of best practices in literacy and mathematics
Proven classroom management skills
Ability to communicate with students and guardian
