Analyst will be joining the Research team, assisting in the due diligence on external investment managers spanning across all asset classes, researching market opportunities, and assisting with reporting/data management.

Role Description:

  • As part of a 60+ person firm, join a 13-person team to source, diligence, and monitor third-party investment managers across all asset classes and structures
    • Regularly produce written reports utilizing quantitative and qualitative analyses on managers
    • Develop research on new market opportunities
    • Document manager meetings/calls with detailed, comprehensive notes
  • Support Co-CIOs in developing views on asset allocation for taxable and non-taxable client portfolios
  • Work with Client Advisory team members to create regular and ad hoc client-ready manager and market analyses
  • Assist with data management, transformation, and visualization to support existing reporting requirements and enhance the Firm’s analytical capabilities
  • Manage and improve research management system capabilities

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Strong interest in financial markets
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude, with a willingness to embrace data-intensive projects
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Experience in Bloomberg, database management, Tableau, R, Solovis, VBA a plus
  • Proactive self-starter
  • High energy work ethic, sense of urgency, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
