Associate Consultant

OPEN UNTIL FILLED - REVIEWED ON A ROLLING BASIS

The Associate Consultant is responsible for executing day-to-day project activities to support

digital health strategy engagements for startup, health system, pharmaceutical and other Fortune

500 clients. This includes collaborating with Analysts, Consultants, and Engagement Managers

to conduct secondary research of the digital health or other relevant markets, lead primary

research efforts, synthesize research findings into strategic insights, and develop client

deliverables such as slide decks, quantitative analyses or other deliverables as required.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

● Conduct and synthesize primary and secondary research on clinical, scientific,

technology and business topics

● Coordinate and lead client, customer, provider and thought leader interviews

● Conduct qualitative, quantitative and financial data analysis

● Develop deliverables, including slide decks, reports, protocols and other types of

presentations as required for clients

● Mentor and support Analysts on research and deliverable development

● Develop thought leadership materials including white papers, blog posts and other

research materials

● Other duties as assigned by management

Additional Job Requirements:

● Some travel may be required for client engagements, company retreat(s) and conferences

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Sciences, Social sciences,

Economics, Health Administration, or related field

● 2-3 years of experience working in a health care setting, management consulting or investment banking OR a master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration or related field and 1-2 years of experience in management consulting, digital health or healthcare innovation

● Demonstrated interest in healthcare or digital health

● Demonstrated experience conducting primary & secondary research

● Strong critical, strategic thinking and analytical skills

● Structured approach to problem-solving

● Excellent oral and written communication skills

● Strong work ethic and attention to detail

● Ability to work independently and be a self-starter

● General understanding of the US healthcare system & payment models a plus

● General understanding of the digital health landscape a plus
