
Leadership Position for Health Equity Nonprofit
United Against Inequities in Disease (UAID) is a 501(c)3 national non-profit organization that empowers students to eliminate health inequities locally. Please visit www.uaid.org for more details.
We are pleased to announce 2 open leadership positions on the UAID National Board, both for the role of Strategic Partnerships, Community Engagement, and Communications Lead.
Selected applicants will be responsible for executing the organization’s communication efforts to strategic partners and the wider community for multiple initiatives including the UAID Health Equity Leadership Conference, the UAID Journal of Health Equity, and the UAID Community Project Training Module.
Must have: 1) strong communication skills; 2) high level of professionalism, and 3) attention to detail. Selected applicants will be working closely with 5 other leaders who comprise the National Board of the organization.
All positions are remote (video conference capability necessary) and require a commitment of 6-10 hours/week from July 15, 2025 - July 15, 2026. This is an unpaid leadership opportunity, but is eligible for academic credit or practicum requirements..
