Full Stack Developer

SXD

SXD has an immediate opening for an experienced Full Stack Developer to build our patent-backed, award-winning design-tech web application. You will be the critical builder behind SXD’s mission of making zero waste the new standard across fashion and automotive. You will partner closely with our Director of Technology, a computer science PhD from Adobe Research and trailblazer in scaling the most efficient designs into digitized blueprints for manufacturing via AI. You will join a tight-knit team of mission-driven creators and work with our network of industry leaders (from Instagram, Adidas, Rivian etc.), 3D designers, fashion designers, and other partners to ensure that our product is built for the easiest adoption.

 

What You Bring 

  • Clear comfort with data structures, algorithms, and linear algebra. - Technical expertise including: C++, Python, Javascript, Java, and/or Rust, with a focus on image manipulation and rendering libraries.
  • Familiarity with object oriented and/or functional programming paradigms and big O analysis. 
  • Experience building data-driven applications with dedicated backend and frontend systems. 
  • Familiarity with different database paradigms including document store, relational, NoSQL, and graph. 
  • Ability to write very clean and functional code adhering to software development patterns. 
  • Alignment with SXD’s mission and values, including a high level of accountability, collaborative spirit, and relentless curiosity.
