Marketing Assistant
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Marketing Assistant to join our team at FieldHub, a leading provider of accounting and ERP software for security integrators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating, creating, and distributing engaging content across various marketing channels to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and support our growth objectives. In this role, you will be rapidly learning the fundamentals of B2B marketing and will have the opportunity to quickly take on additional responsibilities as you demonstrate your abilities and contribute to the team’s success.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing content plans that support FieldHub’s marketing goals and connect with our target audience
- Brainstorm and share creative ideas for social media, blog posts, email newsletters, and other marketing materials
- Write and edit basic marketing content, including social posts, blogs, and email campaigns
- Work with designers and video contractors to help produce graphics and videos for marketing campaigns
- Help organize and promote webinars, including preparing materials and distributing recordings or follow-up resources
- Update and track the editorial calendar to ensure content goes out on time
- Schedule and post marketing content on social media and other channels using online tools
- Collect and review simple performance data (likes, shares, open rates, etc.) to help the team improve future campaigns
- Prepare basic weekly summaries on what content was published and what’s planned next
- Learn about current content marketing tools and trends, and share new ideas with the team
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
- Candidates should have some experience with content creation or digital marketing, which may include internships, classwork, or personal projects.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail are important.
- Familiarity with basic content creation tools such as Canva, Figma, or beginner-level video editing software (such as Descript or iMovie) is helpful.
- An understanding of major social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as an interest in learning best practices, is expected.
- Ability to quickly learn and use content management systems, project management tools such as Asana or Trello, and email marketing platforms is important.
- A basic understanding—or an eagerness to learn—SEO and SEM concepts is desirable.
- The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks and deadlines, and is comfortable reviewing data to help the team improve.
- A genuine interest in keeping up with content marketing trends and digital tools is also important.
