Patient Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Patient appointment scheduling
  • Greeting patients
  • Answering multi-line phone system and direct calls to appropriate department
  • Organizing and maintain office common areas
  • Effectively filling schedule when openings occur
  • Collecting insurance information and copays from patients
  • Maintaining a friendly welcoming environment for our patients
  • Scanning documents and insurance information
  • Performing any additional administrative duties as needed
  • The ability to multi-task and juggle multiple duties at once is a must

Skills:

  • Capacity to establish positive patient experience as patient’s first contact as they walk in the door
  • Detail-oriented with the aptitude to troubleshoot
  • Proficiency in multitasking
  • Overall amiable demeanor, professional appearance and decorum
  • Capability to work independently and within a team
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and internet savvy
  • Excellent phone/communication skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Customer service orientation

Experience in a fast-paced healthcare administrative environment is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
