Benson Early Learning Program has an opening for a Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten Instructional Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and the ability to create a positive, engaging learning environment for young children. 

Description: The VPK Instructional Assistant provides support to teachers in Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) classrooms, assisting with the education of 4-year-old children.

Some Key Responsibilities: 

• Assisting with instruction
• Supervising children
• Supporting classroom activates
• Maintaining records.
• Assist in ensuring the health, physical and social/emotional well-being and safety of the children at all times

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience working with young children. 
• CPR and First Aid certified (preferred)

Starting range for this position is: $16.63 - $19/hour
