Digital Marketing Intern

As a digital marketing intern, you will assist our marketing team with various aspects of our digital marketing strategy. You will gain hands-on experience and valuable skills in this exciting and growing field.

Your primary duties include:

  • Performing office and administrative tasks, such as managing databases, updating calendars, and organizing files.
  • Developing social media campaigns includes creating and posting content, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance.
  • Assisting with our marketing plan, which includes defining our brand identity, value proposition, and target market.
  • Creating press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and other forms of content that showcase our brand and events.
  • Setting up meetings with the press and any public figure and conducting speaking engagements centered around digital marketing.
  • Working with our affiliates and radio stations broadcast worldwide to prepare promotional material for our online store program initiatives, magazines, and presentations.
  • Creating and updating web pages using WordPress, HTML, CSS, and other web design tools.
  • Conducting keyword research, SEO audits, and competitor analysis to optimize our website and increase organic traffic.
  • Running and managing paid ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms, using tools such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Analytics.
  • Tracking and reporting on the performance of our digital marketing campaigns, using metrics such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and ROI.

  • Preferred qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in marketing, communication, business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience or coursework in digital marketing, web design, content creation, or social media management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, WordPress, HTML, CSS, and web design tools.
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and other digital marketing tools.
  • Certification or training in digital marketing, SEO, analytics, or related topics.
  • Must be able to commit before applying.

 

Time Commitment:

 Interns can expect to work at least 10 hours a week or fewer (depending on the academic requirements). This is a flexible, remote position. We will work with you according to your schedule and academic requirements. The final schedule will be established between the intern and the director. Internships are available year-round based on student and organizational needs. Internships typically last 3–4 months, so the student and the organization can make the most of the internship experience. Upon completion of your internship (if it is an academic requirement), you can continue your internship or volunteer.

"This position qualifies for academic credit with the appropriate institution's approval." Interns may also obtain program or course credit for this experience with their educational institution's approval.  Although this internship is unpaid, it is eligible for academic or course credit with your school's approval.
