Freelance Videographer and Editor - Social Media Content

Who we are: Beaumont Nathan are world leaders in art advisory. We advise collectors at the top end of the market – from Old Masters to Contemporary – and pride ourselves on taste, connoisseurship, and transparency.

Overview:

We are looking for an ad hoc freelancer who we can call in from time to time. You will be responsible for filming and editing video content primarily for Instagram. You will work independently with your own camera gear, microphones, and editing software. You must be based in or able to travel to New York, NY for on-site filming. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, receptive to feedback and comfortable managing the entire video production process from shoot to final edit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Film high-quality video content tailored for Instagram reels
• Edit footage to create polished, engaging videos that align with our brand’s style and voice
• Collaborate with our team and incorporate feedback to revise video content
• Manage your own equipment and software to deliver professional results
• Deliver content in the required formats optimized for Instagram

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a videographer and video editor, preferably with social media content
• Own/have access to professional gear (camera and microphones)
• Proficiency in the editing software of your choice (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
• Ability to work independently, communicate effectively, and adapt to feedback
• Flexible availability to support projects on an as-needed basis

Preferred Qualifications:

• An interest in/basic knowledge of art and art history
