The Future Technologists program is designed to recruit candidates who lack technology-related education and experience. The program targets high school students and other interns with limited experience.

 

User Support Intern (Hybrid)

 

Position will provide intern with the opportunity to learn NC Identity Management (NCID), Active Directory and Service Now ticketing service in the Natural and Cultural Resources environment. In addition, learn the importance of strong communication and providing excellent customer service skills.

 

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Copier, printer, and scanning technology 
  • Local Area Network and Internet principles
  • Computer/server hardware installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting techniques

 

Note position may require occasional lifting of IT equipment > 30lbs.
