Early Screening & Intervention (ESI) Resource Counselor - Penobscot Place - $20.72/Hr     
Closing Date: 06/16/2025

FT 40 Hr/wk Provides assessment and resource coordination to State’s Attorney Office appointed defendants. Acts as a intermediary between the State Attorney’s Office, community services, and court-based social services. Provides preliminary mental health and substance abuse assessments. Assists the State Attorney’s Office in identifying defendants for pre- and post-arraignment and linking to appropriate court-based and community services and/or programming. 

Worksite: Norwich 

Hours: Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or closely related field
  • Bilingual required: Spanish/English
  • Previous work experience in criminal justice sectors preferred
  • Valid CT Driver’s License, vehicle registration, and insurance
  • Must pass Department of Justice Security Clearance Requirements
