Inside Sales Representative

Position Overview: 

As an Inside Sales Representative at Mazzetta Company, you play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by building and nurturing relationships with business clients across the nation. This position is ideal for individuals who are motivated, personable, and eager to develop a career in sales within the food industry. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for connecting with prospective and existing customers via phone, introducing them to Mazzetta’s premium seafood offerings, and guiding them through the sales process.

Fulltime position will be based at company HQ in Highland Park, IL. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Engage with business owners and decision-makers nationwide through outbound phone calls.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively communicating the value of Mazzetta’s products and services.
  • Focus on selling and closing deals, qualified leads are provided so you can concentrate on achieving sales targets.
  • Collaborate with team members in a supportive, goal-oriented environment.
  • Stay informed about seafood industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Partnering with internal teams to deliver exceptional, seamless client experience.

 

Qualifications: 

The following preferences will be considered, though they are not all mandatory. 

  • High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of customers.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation and a commitment to providing positive customer experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment and meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with team members, vendors, and other departments to achieve operational excellence.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and interpret market and customer data.
  • Willingness to learn about Mazzetta’s products and industry to effectively match solutions to customer needs.
