About the Teach Brother Teach! Fellowship
The Teach Brother Teach! (TBT) Fellowship is a transformative, multi-year initiative dedicated to inspiring, recruiting, and supporting Black men to become effective and impactful elementary and secondary school teachers. Designed to remove barriers that traditionally deter Black men from entering the field of education, the TBT Fellowship provides financial, academic, social, and professional development support throughout fellows’ teacher education and early career journeys.
This program seeks to develop a cadre of exceptional Black male educators who are deeply committed to teaching in urban public or charter schools in New York’s Capital District. TBT Fellows will work together to uplift students and transform communities through their leadership in the classroom.
