Postal Logistics and Data Strategy Coordinator

Postal Logistics & Data Strategy Coordinator

Entry-Level Opportunity | Full-Time | On-Site – Manchester, NH

If Excel is your second language, and the idea of outsmarting the postal system sounds weirdly fun—you might be exactly who we’re looking for.

Spectrum Marketing Companies, a leader in direct mail and targeted marketing is looking for a sharp, driven, numbers-fluent team member to help us make mailing smarter, faster, and more effective.

This is not a boring back-office job. It’s a launchpad.

We’re looking for someone early in their career—maybe a recent college grad or data-obsessed self-starter—who wants to learn, grow, and eventually own a key part of our operations strategy. You’ll start with fundamentals (postal rates, mailing lists, delivery timing), but we want you to evolve into the go-to expert for all things data, logistics, and marketing effectiveness.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  1. • Pull and segment mailing lists for campaigns (single + multi-location)
  2. • Work with data vendors to source targeted lists that hit client goals
  3. • Use analytical tools to recommend postage classes, truck routing, and timelines
  4. • Help troubleshoot delivery issues with USPS and carriers (you're the sleuth)
  5. • Support sales teams with insights on mail timing and campaign strategy
  6. • Build maps, reports, and ROI evaluations from customer data
  7. • Keep our list universe organized, updated, and streamlined
  8. • Constantly improve our tools and internal decision-making workflows

 You’ll Thrive If You Are:

  1. • Comfortable in Excel (if you don’t know XLOOKUP now, you will in week one)
  2. • Analytical and curious—you don’t just pull the data, you want to understand it
  3. • Organized and methodical but flexible when things change (they will)
  4. • A clear communicator—both on paper and in person
  5. • The kind of person who asks “why are we doing it this way?”—and finds better answers

Bonus Points For:

  1. • Experience in direct mail, marketing, or postal logistics (not required—we’ll train)
  2. • Working with sales teams, client services, or ops roles
  3. • Having ever tried to make a USPS process more efficient without crying

Why This Role Actually Matters:

We're building more than mail campaigns—we're building campaign intelligence. This role is key to making our marketing smarter and more strategic. If you grow with us, you'll move from pulling lists to influencing strategy across dozens of national campaigns.

We want someone who wants to grow out of the seat they start in.

The Boring Stuff (But Important):

  1. • On-site in Manchester, NH (we do everything in-house, including mailing)
  2. • Monday–Friday, full-time hours
  3. • Must be able to sit, click, and lift a box of paper like a champion (15 lbs max)
  4. • Equal opportunity employer, naturally
