Human Resources Generalist-Bilingual

Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This position is responsible for assisting with employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and HRIS data management. The HR Generalist serves as a resource for employees and helps ensure that HR policies and procedures are consistently applied and aligned with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·          Recruitment & Onboarding:

  • Coordinate recruitment efforts and job postings in collaboration with hiring managers.
  • Schedule and participate in interviews, reference checks, and offer letters.
  • Facilitate onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire training and track required onboarding audits.
  • Attend job fairs and networking events that lead to talent cultivation.

·          Employee Relations & Support:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
  • Support HR leadership with investigations and resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

·          Benefits & Leave Administration:

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment and questions.
  • Support leave of absence tracking and compliance with FMLA and ADA requirements.

·          Compliance & Recordkeeping:

  • Ensure employee files are complete and compliant with legal requirements.
  • Assist in audits and reporting as needed.
  • Maintain HRIS data with accuracy and confidentiality.

·          HR Process Support:

  • Help administer performance review cycles and documentation.
  • Participate in employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
  • Support payroll processing by collecting and verifying employee data.

Qualifications:

·          Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.

·          2+ years of human resources experience in healthcare or human service industry experience preferred.

·          Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.

·          Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

·          Proficiency in any HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with BambooHR is a plus.

·          Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

·          Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
