Executive Pastor Intern- Fall 2025 

As an Executive Pastor Intern, you will assist the Executive Pastor with overseeing the operations of our church. Topics which may arise include staffing, facility management, staff development, management of all the church’s resources, engagement of the congregation in generosity, and budgeting. The experience is intended to give you opportunities which help you identify and develop the gifts God has given you to build His Kingdom.

Basic Requirements:

  • Profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior- This is an absolute requirement for all interns.
  • Agree with and agree to conduct yourself in alignment with these additional beliefs: real.life/beliefs
  • Christian business students would likely be a good fit for this role.
  • Sharp, strategic mind with ability to see large picture and details of church operations
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
  • High level of understanding of business functions of a church

Potential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and engage with the Executive team, ministry leaders, staff, and the congregation through high-level competency and spiritual maturity.
  • Receive a clear understanding of our core values, discipleship-making pathway, and how to incorporate all of those elements across locations and within the vision and mission of the church. 
  • Give feedback to Executive Pastor about status of programs and church initiatives.

Expect to be on the Real Life campus (1501 Steves Road, Clermont, FL 34711) at least 3 days per week and work 15-20 hours/week. 

Typical hours for most positions would be Sunday 8am-1pm plus 10-15 additional hours Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm. Must be flexible to hours outside of these hours with notice.

The internship is 12 weeks long September 7, 2025, until December 5, 2025. The church offices are closed the week of Thanksgiving, although staff is expected to be on campus Sunday, November 23rd and Sunday, November 30th. 

Salary: $150.00 per week
