Description:

Professional Health Care of Pinellas, a leading multi-specialty healthcare organization in Pinellas County, is offering a unique internship for students interested in healthcare operations, data analysis, and revenue cycle management. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience at the intersection of patient care and financial performance.

As an intern, you will:
 

• Analyze key parts of the revenue cycle including scheduling, billing, and collections
• Create reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI, and/or SQL
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities to improve processes
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to drive efficiency
• Present insights and recommendations to leadership

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program (Health Administration, Public Health, Business, Finance, or Analytics preferred)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Power BI or SQL is a plus
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Interest in healthcare operations and making a real-world impact
