Job Overview
The Multimedia Motion Designer at American Bath Group is a creative and technical professional responsible for designing and producing compelling motion graphics, animations, and video content to elevate the brand’s digital and wholesale marketing initiatives. This role combines artistic vision with technical expertise to create visually stunning content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and promotional materials. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong command of motion graphics tools and video editing software, capable of working independently and collaborating with the marketing team to align content with brand goals and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality motion graphics, animations, and video content for digital platforms, including social media, websites, email campaigns, and wholesale marketing materials.
- Storytelling & Branding: Develop visually engaging narratives that align with American Bath Group’s brands and resonate with target audiences in the wholesale and B2B markets.
- Project Execution: Manage all stages of video production, including storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production, ensuring timely delivery of polished content.
- Motion Graphics Design: Create dynamic motion graphics and animations using tools like Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar software to enhance marketing campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, content creators, and sales teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals, market needs, and brand guidelines.
- Asset Optimization: Adapt video and motion graphics content for various platforms, ensuring optimal performance across social media, web, and mobile devices.
- Trend Awareness: Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques in motion graphics and video production to deliver innovative and competitive content.
- Feedback Integration: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine and enhance content, maintaining a high standard of creative excellence.
- File Management: Organize and maintain a library of video and graphic assets for efficient reuse and brand consistency.
- Analytics Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to track content performance metrics and adjust creative strategies to maximize engagement and ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Animation, Graphic Design, Media Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in motion graphics, video production, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent tools; knowledge of 3D software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender) is a plus.
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, animations, and video editing work, preferably in a marketing or branding context.
- Excellent storytelling and visual design skills with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g., social media, YouTube, HubSpot) and content optimization best practices.
- Experience in wholesale or B2B marketing is a plus but not required.
