Email / CRM Marketing Specialist - American Bath Group

Job Overview

The Email Marketing Specialist will be a proactive, data-driven strategist responsible for developing and optimizing American Bath Group’s email marketing initiatives for the wholesale division and brands. This role extends beyond creating and sending emails, focusing on building automation strategies, identifying disengaged lists, forging partnerships, and leveraging modern technologies to nurture leads and retain customers. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, stays current on email marketing trends, and uses data to uncover opportunities that advance business goals. This role will work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, other marketing team members, and external agencies to align strategies with broader marketing objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Email Planning: Develop and execute a sophisticated email marketing strategy that supports wholesale channel goals, focusing on lead nurturing, customer retention, and sales support.
  • Opportunity Identification: Analyze competitor campaigns, industry benchmarks, and audience data to identify gaps and opportunities, presenting actionable recommendations to the Digital Marketing Manager and team.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and collaborate with strategic partners (e.g., co-marketing opportunities, integration platforms) to enhance email campaign reach and effectiveness.
  • List Management & Segmentation: Optimize email lists by identifying disengaged subscribers, re-engaging them through targeted campaigns, and implementing dynamic segmentation for personalized experiences.
  • Automation Strategies: Design and implement advanced automation workflows in HubSpot, such as drip campaigns, behavioral triggers, and lifecycle-based sequences, to maximize efficiency and relevance.
  • Content Strategy Oversight: Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to oversee the creation of compelling, on-brand email content, ensuring alignment with audience needs and campaign goals.
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytics tools (e.g., HubSpot, Google Analytics) to monitor email performance (open rates, click-through rates, conversions), identify underperforming areas, and optimize campaigns for better results.
  • Innovation & Technology Adoption: Stay current on email marketing technologies, such as AI-driven personalization, interactive emails, or AMP for Email, and propose innovative tactics to enhance engagement.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager, sales, and channel teams to align email strategies with market needs, competitive insights, and field-driven opportunities.
  • Reporting & Insights: Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to the Digital Marketing Manager, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.

  • 3+ years of experience in email marketing, preferably in a B2B or wholesale environment.
