Administrative Assistant/Study Hall Supervisor

Stay organized, support students, and make a daily impact as an Administrative Assistant/Study Hall Supervisor at O’Gorman Junior High for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Description:

• Promote the mission of Bishop O†Gorman Catholic Schools
• Study Hall Supervisor
  • Take attendance at the beginning of each class
  • Be able to effectively manage a classroom with appropriate routines and procedures.
  • Make sure students have something to do while in study hall (homework, novel, etc.)
  • Assist students with homework as needed
• Office Assistant
  • Prepare various quarterly reports (honor roll, dress down lists, etc.)
  • Prepare weekly reports for principal (online grades & assignments)
  • Create social media messages for school events, etc. as requested by the principal
  • Create and post messages to the TV’s (digital signage) throughout the school
  • Record misbehaviors into the student management system
  • Keep track of student attendance and create attendance letters
  • Assist with homework completion program
• Substitute Teacher
  • Available to substitute teach at different points of the school day
• After School Supervisor
  • Supervise students after school
  • Be able to effectively manage a classroom with appropriate routines and procedures
• All
  • Perform various duties as assigned by the principal

Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent
• Some post high training in education preferred
• Works well with children
