The Pennsylvania House of Representatives is hiring an intern for the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters. Interns will work with archivists and research analysts covering several facets of the job. Additionally, interns gain a better understanding of the PA House of Representatives and its Members.

The internship is a structured educational experience designed to provide hands-on experience that complements students’ academic work. Interns work with professional archivists and research staff on both on-going programs and special projects. The internship provides an opportunity for students interested in public history to gain valuable training and experience which can be applied later in their professional careers. 

-Be a second semester junior, a senior, or a graduate student Attend a College or University in Pennsylvania or be a resident of Pennsylvania

-Have at least a 3.0 GPA

-Must complete an application and submit a resume, official

-college transcripts, and two letters of recommendation 


-13-week paid internship

-Full- or part-time internship opportunities for Fall and Spring Semesters
