Analog Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Analog Electrical Engineer. Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid – On-site with 2 remote days/week). This job is posted by Quantum Jobs USA, on the behalf of Quantinuum Careers
 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analog circuits for complex quantum control systems integrating digital, analog, and RF components
  • Perform circuit simulation, design analysis, schematic entry, and board layout (preferably using Altium)
  • Lead testing and measurement using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
  • Execute low-noise design and analog control loop integration;
  • Collaborate in a research-driven, rapid prototyping environment;
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality designs with first-pass success

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in electronic circuit development and testing
  • 2+ years of schematic entry and board layout (Altium preferred);
  • Proficiency with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.);
  • Must be a U.S. Person (citizen, green card holder, or asylum/refugee status)
  • Must not be a national of the People’s Republic of China or Russia unless also a U.S. citizen (per national security requirements)

Preferred:

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 6+ years in an engineering or R&D environment
  • Strong background in analog design, including ADCs/DACs, amplifiers, filters, and low-noise systems
  • Experience with optics (e.g., AOMs, EOMs, lasers, photodetectors);
  • Familiarity with SPICE or equivalent circuit simulation tools;
  • Knowledge of FPGA, ASIC, or software development is a plus
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
