Position Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and organized Social Media Marketing Interns to help us amplify our voice across digital platforms. As a Social Media Intern, you will be instrumental in increasing brand visibility, expanding our B2C presence, and converting engagement into action. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world marketing experience while making a difference in education.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, schedule, and manage content across key social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok)
  • Develop and execute campaigns to grow followers and drive engagement from parents, educators, and community leaders
  • Monitor social trends, hashtags, and competitors to generate fresh and relevant content
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support product launches, webinars, and digital outreach
  • Use tools like Canva, Buffer, or Hootsuite to design and plan visual content
  • Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, conversions) and report insights weekly
  • Respond to messages and comments in a timely and professional manner

 

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Marketing, Communications, Education, or related fields preferred)
  • Passion for education, family engagement, or literacy advocacy
  • Strong written communication and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends
  • Comfortable using Canva, Google Workspace, and basic analytics tools
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to contribute to a growing mission-driven company
