Summer Campaign Intern
Summer Campaign Intern: Walden for NYC Mayor
Jim Walden's independent bid for NYC mayor has already changed the race, with leading candidates taking third-party lines to appear on the November ballot, regardless of what happens in June's Democratic primary. Jim will run under the Integrity Party in the general election.
Jim is the real independent, a former prosecutor commited to bringing safety to our streets and ending corruption, cronyism and patronage in City Hall. As a private lawyer, Jim represented whistleblowers and fought for vulnerable communities for decades. He stands up for those who need a champion – public housing tenants, trans workers and government retirees. Now, he’s bringing his energy and creativity to the campaign to put people over politics in New York City.
Get Involved
Jim’s campaign is seeking bright sparks with a passion for winning. The best volunteers will be offered paid work. We need “jacks of all trades,” who can use a range of dynamic skills while sharpening their campaign experience. Opportunities may include voter outreach and canvasing, organizing and attending campaign related events, public policy research and writing, planning and executing fundraising activities, logistical support for campaign activities, tracking and analyzing poll data and voter feedback, collaborating with other campaign staff to develop strategic plans. There's so much to do in a mayoral campaign for the greatest city in the world.
