Marketing Intern Position– Social Media & Content Marketing Focus

About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media and Marketing Intern with a passion for digital storytelling and content creation. This is an exciting opportunity for students interested in social media marketing, graphic design, content strategy and video content. You’ll work closely with the Senior Director of Marketing, supporting projects that build brand visibility and engage global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and create social media content, including Reels, stories, and static graphics
- Assist in scheduling and publishing content across social platforms
- Assist with written content production including articles, web content, blog posts, etc.
- Review and organize digital asset library (photos, videos, past content)
- Audit existing content, create a content catalog to identify reusable or repurposable materials
- Support on-site production shoots (optional but encouraged)
- Collaborate with the ASU marketing team on campaign ideas and social trends
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media Production, Journalism or related fields
- Interest in social media marketing and understanding of current trends
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
- Familiarity with video editing platforms
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and in a collaborative setting
- Bonus: Data analytics skills
