POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Quality & Regulatory Analyst (Intern) at Acme-Hardesty Co. will support the Quality & Regulatory Group by collecting and collating data to meet compliance deadlines. This temporary role includes learning about industry’s best practices and contributing to key projects in quality and regulatory affairs.

RESPONSIBILITES AND ACCOUNTABILITES:

  • Collect and organize PFAS data from supply partners to ensure compliance with reporting requirements from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and collaborate with the Q&R team to address data gaps.
  • Coordinate the update of all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels to comply with the recent amendments to the Hazardous Products Regulations (HPR) in Canada and the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) in the USA.
  • Assist with general data cleanup projects to support automation initiatives in the Q&R department.
  • Additional support tasks, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS DESIRED:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Passionate curiosity about Quality & Regulatory
  • A demonstrated team-player
  • Ability to multitask and remain positive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • The ability to enhance the Acme-Hardesty culture.
  • Ability to work independently.
