Pre-medical/Pre-PA/Pre-NP Internship
PRE-MEDICAL / PRE-PA / PRE-NP INTERNSHIP
The following are REQUIRED to apply for the internship:
- You must be graduating from college by June 2026.
- You must be available 4-5 days per week, for 8 hours per day, for 1 year.
- You must live in the California Bay Area and have housing within a one-hour commute driving to Morgan Hill, CA and/or San Jose, CA. This is not a remote internship. Do not apply if you do not live within a one-hour commuting distance.
- You must have an interest in advancing your career in health care.

Description:
Pre-medical/Pre-PA/Pre-NP Internship for college graduate in gap year(s) between undergraduate and medical school, physician assistant or nurse practitioner school.
Vascular Surgery practice offers a dynamic Internship at Morgan Hill and San Jose locations. Interns have an opportunity to learn about a medical/surgical career and actively engage in hands-on patient care for career development in health care.
Internship activities include:
- Learn about a medical/surgical career
- Learn skills for health care career growth through mentorship
- Learn about medical diagnosis and management
- Learn imaging skills and how to apply them
- Learn the components of a medical practice
- Learn how to interact with patients and obtain medical history
- Learn how to work efficiently within a team
- Learn how to assist in surgical procedures and hands-on patient care
- Learn human anatomy
- Make an impact the health of underserved patient populations
- Implement projects that improve patient care and enhance application to medical school, physician assistant or nurse practitioner school.
Pay: Paid learning stipend
Hours: 9 am to 5:30 pm, 4 to 5 days per week
