Description:
We’re building something special at The Black-Footed Collective™—a creative music brand blending live performance, studio production, storytelling, and content. We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented student or recent grad to support our gear setup, studio sessions, rehearsals, and live events. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about music, sound, and creative production.
You’ll help with:
Studio and rehearsal setup/tear-down (instruments, mics, cables, interfaces, etc.)
Live sound setup and monitoring (IEMs, playback rig, FOH assistance)
Capturing live audio during performances and sessions
Shooting behind-the-scenes (BTS) video and photo content on iPhone
Helping manage lighting, video framing, and iPhone camera operation
Supporting fast-turnaround content for social (shorts, stories, reels)
What we’re looking for:
Familiarity with audio gear (mics, DI boxes, interfaces, mixers)
Experience filming with iPhone and/or understanding basic camera angles
A collaborative mindset and interest in music/media
Bonus: Ableton or Logic experience, audio routing, or video editing basics
Location:
Primarily based in [St. Louis / Nashville / Austin – customize as needed], with flexible hours around studio sessions, shows, or content days.
Compensation:
Hourly pay or project stipend depending on scope. Great opportunity for experience and credit if needed.
