Role Overview

We are looking for a proficient Product Designer with front-end development skills. At Kaya AI, you will play a critical role in designing intuitive, user-centric experiences for our AI-powered platform. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to bring concepts to life and optimize the user journey.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design process, from research and wireframing to high-fidelity designs and prototypes.

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to deliver seamless and impactful user experiences.

• Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and iterate on designs based on feedback.

• Develop and maintain a consistent design system that aligns with Kaya AI’s brand guidelines.

• Use data-driven insights to inform design decisions and improve usability across the product.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
    • 2-3 years of experience in product design or UI design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your design skills and process.
    • 1-2 years of experience with front-end development, specifically React and Next.js.
    • Experience building responsive, interactive web applications using React and Next.js.
    • Experience working with design systems and collaborating with engineers to ensure design consistency.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency with React, Next.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
    • Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, interaction design, and accessibility.
    • Proficient with Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
    • Experience creating prototypes and conducting user testing to ensure designs meet user needs.
  • Nice to Have:
    • Familiarity with back-end technologies and working in a full-stack environment.
    • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
    • Understanding of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
    • Knowledge of Node.js or other server-side technologies.
