Non-Profit Marketing Internship

e are seeking a creative and driven student who is passionate about youth development, storytelling, and digital marketing. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to build a dynamic portfolio while gaining real-world experience with a nonprofit that serves underserved youth across the Phoenix Valley. 

Main Responsibilities 

Attend and gather content at Future for KIDS’ after-school Discover Your Future (DYF) programs and fall break camp 

Support our social media presence by creating engaging content for Instagram and Facebook 

Attend weekly Program Lead meetings on Mondays at 11:00am to plan content with your supervisor 

Design and produce a mentor recruitment video 

Create marketing materials (flyers, event graphics, digital assets) as needs arise 

Use Canva to design consistent, brand-aligned visuals 

Contribute innovative ideas to elevate Future for KIDS’ visibility and engagement 

Requirements 

Must be available from August through December 2025 (may be extended until May 2026 based off performance and availability) 

Strong knowledge of Canva (experience with video editing is a plus) 

Clear written communication and creativity in digital media 

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively 

Strong time management and organizational skills 

Preferred Majors 

Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Digital Media, Public Relations, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related fields 

Work Schedule 

Approximately 10–15 hours per week 

Flexibility with hours Monday–Friday, between 9:00am and 6:000pm 

Most work will be done in-person at sites or in our Tempe office
