Human Resources Intern

Foster Garvey PC, one of the Pacific Northwest's leading law firms, seeks a Human Resources Intern for our Seattle office.

The Human Resources Intern will gain valuable hands-on experience across multiple HR functions while supporting our team in a collaborative, fast-paced legal environment. This position offers excellent professional development opportunities for individuals starting their HR career. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, exceptional customer service and communication skills, strict confidentiality, strong organizational abilities, and a proactive mindset. We welcome recent college graduates with HR education or experience who are passionate about developing a career in human resources within a professional services setting. 

An in-person presenceis required for this positionfive (5) days a week Monday through Friday with normal business hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and coordinating interview schedules
  • Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire packets and coordinating orientation schedules
  • Help maintain accurate HR databases, digital files, and confidential record-keeping systems
  • Support the benefitsteam with administrative tasks, including assisting with wellness program initiatives
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team, including meeting coordination and filing
  • Contribute to special projects across various HR functions
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • 1-3 years of HR education or relevant experience
  • High School Diploma required; current enrollment in or completion of HR-related degree program preferred

Salary Range:

The pay range for this internship is $21.00 to $25.00 per hour.

Other Compensation and Benefits:

Benefits include a Commuter Benefits Program for eligible employees. To receive the commuter benefit, employees will need to work threeor more days in the office per week.
