Job Description:
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented People & Sourcing Intern to join our team! This exciting role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both talent acquisition and people operations, making a tangible impact on our employee journey.
You'll support our recruiting efforts by assisting with market mapping, pipeline building, and sourcing strategies to identify and engage top talent. You'll also play a key role in enhancing our new hire onboarding experience by refining, documenting, and implementing processes that ensure a seamless and welcoming start for all new employees.
The ideal candidate will be curious, organized, and proactive, with a keen interest in human resources, talent acquisition, and market research. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about contributing to a positive and effective employee experience from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
50% People Operations
- Gather and review current team onboarding processes and materials to optimize day 1/ week 1 experience.
- Create onboarding workflows, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
- Help create and update onboarding resources, including welcome kits, internal guides, and digital content.
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., IT, Hiring Managers) to ensure all aspects of onboarding are coordinated and efficient.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
50% Recruiting/Sourcing/Researching
- Proactively pursue high-quality candidates with a sales-driven approach to engagement and conversion via sourcing methods likes LinkedIn, etc
- Conduct market mapping to analyze industry trends and talent pools.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates for future hiring needs.
- Support outreach efforts to passive candidates, engaging them with personalized messaging.
- Maintain candidate data and research findings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or relevant databases.
- Provide support in recruitment initiatives, including interview scheduling and coordination.
- Assist in reporting and analytics related to sourcing effectiveness and recruitment trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong interest in Human Resources, People Operations, and Talent Management.
- Strong research skills and ability to analyze talent markets.
- Sales-oriented mindset with a drive to “sell” opportunities and attract top talent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, or other sourcing tools (preferred).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Passion for talent acquisition, recruitment strategies, and people development.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn about different industries and roles.
