 Internship Opportunity: Mechanical Engineering (Gatesville, TX)

Are you a mechanical engineering student or a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a meaningful, mission-driven environment? Join us for a 6-month internship or temporary assignment starting August 2023 at our Gatesville, Texas facility.

What You’ll Do

As part of our engineering team, you’ll:

• Design and improve manufacturing processes that meet quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Apply engineering principles and statistical analysis to drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain process enhancements.
• Support the production of life-saving products, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Work with both new and existing process equipment and testing systems.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with a background in Mechanical Engineering and experience in:

• Project Management
• Engineering Statistics
• Computer Programming
• Materials Science & Processing
• CAD Design (SolidWorks preferred)

Bonus points if you:

• Are proficient in SolidWorks
• Have experience with project management tools like Trello, Asana, or Smartsheet
