Fundraising & Community Outreach Intern

Are you passionate about making a difference and supporting a mission-driven organization? Do you want hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, and event planning?
 

Live2Create Leadership Academy is looking for driven and detail-oriented college students or young professionals pursuing degrees in Business, Nonprofit Management, or Public Relations to support our fundraising initiatives.
 

Role: Fundraising & Community Outreach Intern

 

Reports to: Founder / Development Director

Purpose: Assisting in fundraising efforts, donor engagement, and community partnership development to support the launch of our academy.

Essential Functions: Grant Writing, Donor Relations, Event Planning, Community Outreach

Status: Volunteer

Hourly Rate: Unpaid
 

We are actively seeking 2-3 fundraising and community outreach interns to play a key role in securing financial support for Live2Create Leadership Academy. This role offers direct experience in nonprofit fundraising strategies, grant writing, and donor communication.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Research and apply for grants, sponsorships, and funding opportunities.
  • Draft compelling donor outreach materials, including emails and social media campaigns.
  • Assist in planning fundraising events and donor appreciation initiatives.
  • Maintain donor databases and track engagement.
  • Support networking efforts with businesses, churches, and community organizations.
  • Work on crafting fundraising pitches and presentations.
     

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for community engagement and fundraising.

 

Commitment: 8-10 hours per week, flexible scheduling available.
