Job Summary:
This recruitment will be used to fill one full-time Research Analyst 2: Hydrogeology and Survey Data Analyst position for the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences at Oregon State University (OSU ). This is a limited duration appointment expected to last approximately 4 months from the appointment begin date.
This is a short-term position to support the analysis of science community needs surrounding airborne geophysical and water data.

Key Responsibilities
50% Coding and analyzing data 30% Graphing and reporting out on data in both written and oral formats 10% Participating in meetings about the topic; engaging respectfully and professionally with research collaborators. 10% Data management
What You Will Need
• Proficiency in coding python
• Experience with hydrogeologic models
• A basic foundation of knowledge and skills in data analysis
• Demonstrated ability to work productively and cooperatively with research collaborators and contribute to a respectful, professional work environment.
What We Would Like You to Have
• Undergraduate degree in geology or related fields
• Proficiency in coding JAVA , C++, HTML
• Experience working in on hydrogeologic research
• Demonstrated experience in database management
• Strong communication and organizational skills, including the ability to produce detailed technical and process documentation.
• Proven ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement them with high accountability.
Working Conditions / Work Schedule
Typically, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional work on weekends or evenings to provide for data analysis and model testing.
