Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is key to our customer engagement strategy and focuses on building strong relationships with contractors, wholesalers, and direct customers. You will be responsible for handling inbound inquiries, managing leads, generating quotes, closing sales, and supporting our external sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming calls and emails from prospective and existing customers.
Proactively follow up on leads generated via marketing campaigns, website inquiries, trade shows, and referrals.
Provide product information, specifications, pricing, and availability to customers.
Prepare and send sales quotes, track follow-ups, and close orders.
Coordinate with engineering and production teams to ensure accurate lead times and custom product needs.
Maintain CRM records, update customer accounts, and track all sales activity.
Assist with order entry, purchase order review, and delivery scheduling.
Educate customers on the benefits of geothermal and renewable energy systems.
Support outside sales reps with sales materials, customer data, and follow-up communications.
Identify opportunities for upselling and product add-ons.
Required Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service mindset and phone etiquette
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
CRM software experience (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to understand technical product details (training provided)
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
Prior experience in HVAC, renewable energy, or technical product sales
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
Knowledge of geothermal systems or energy efficiency solutions
Familiarity with manufacturing, logistics, or ERP systems
Experience working with contractors or wholesale customers
